What do we do?. The long and short of it, we cut hair.

Our goal is to retain the dignity of and empower the gentleman that live in care facilities/services.

We are a family run business, and there has always been carers in our family. My mother has been a huge inspiration to me throughout life, and watching her develop from community carer to Matron as I grew up was truly admirable. One thing life has taught me is that we are all very different, some people were created to give and care, others to build and create and some are amazing at analysing and understanding the complexities of our world.

I have been blessed with the desire to give and care, inherited from my mother and father who both worked very hard, always.

I have tried to do what my mother did and hung up my scissors to venture into care, but I just couldn't walk away from hair. I have spent 6 years dedicating myself to the betterment of others and truly understand how something as simple as a haircut and conversation can have a real impact on someone's life. But what this did reveal to me was that the gentlemen who use these services have very limited access to a professional and dedicated barber.

So we formed Refined Barber Co to do exactly that, we want to offer you our services as a professional, dedicated barber and help the residents under your care have the experience they deserve. Everybody deserves the right to a good haircut and we could be the ones to deliver it.
